Our Team
Empowering Teams and Individuals using Proven Methodologies that Lead to Success, while Putting Humans First.

We have a multi-lingual team that will support you in your return to work policy implementation and guidance.
Our team is under the leadership of Magali Mertens, a best selling author and officially certified disability manager by INAMI/RIZIV, specialised in return-to-work.
"Magali Mertens began her career as a project manager and communicator. In 2011, cancer changed her path. After treatment, she found her calling in coaching, reshaping her professional life.
She holds certifications as a Coach, Disability Manager, Master Practitioner in NLP, and Hypnosis Practitioner. She also trains onco-coaches for the Fondation contre le Cancer, contributing to their RECONNECT platform (2021-2022).
Her mission revolves around harmonizing illness and work with RESILIENCE, serving as a coach, author, consultant, and trainer. Her motivation is to INSPIRE everyone to reach their full potential. For her, creating a more inclusive work environment isn't just a dream; it's essential for success."

With years of experience in patient engagement and multi-stakeholder engagement activities, Mitchell Silva's mission is to empower individuals to achieve a better quality of life. This by using innovative technical tools. Ability First has a unique platform that is the result of 10 years of interaction with people with a chronic disease or cancer.
"Mitchell has a doctorate at the KULeuven in bio-engineering with a passion in health technology. His experience as a patient expert also contributes to unique perception of the tools he creates by putting the human elements in the centre, and not the technology.
Mitchell is also an EUPATI Fellow, and has a degree of Interdisciplinary Program in Translational Medicine from the ULB. He also teaches as a guest lecturer at several universities about the principles of patient empowerment and patient-centric innovation in healthcare by using trending technologies."
